Summer's almost over?!

Boating is so much fun!
...except when I'm asked to do something I don't want to do. I don't want to sit with Nicole and Nick right now!
Sitting on the raft with the other ladies (Aunt Cindy and Cori).
Self-cheese!
Driving the boat with Uncle Craig. Oh jeez...
Shae got to go to Suzie and Frank's wedding with mom and dad. Being all gussied up, mom decided to take the opportunity to take a nice family photo. As soon as we sat down and the cameras came out, Shae REFUSED to look at the camera. LOL
Still... won't... look...
Okay fine. But I won't smile.
Close enough.
Deja vu: self-cheese!
Hangin' out with Aunt Vic. I like her -- she gives me chocolate.

Whoa. 27 flights up is a loooooong way!
Hehe. Daddy's ear is fuuuuunny.
Weddings are exhausted! I'm pooped.
Next up: birthday party! Shae went to her friend Chase's 5th birthday party. He had a bouncy castle. How do you spell R-A-D?

Bouncing with my friend, Carson.

Does this work? Video inside the bounce house...not sure if we need to go to YouTube first. I hope not -- it's hilarious!

Shae's August

Shae's daycare had a luau party to celebrate the end of summer -- even though it's only the middle of August. Whatever. Anyway the party consisted of orange sherbet, pineapple tidbits and plastic leis. It was a great party indeed!
Shae and her best pal, Quinny, enjoy their snack.
Quinny enjoyed hers!
Shae thinks that everything is tastier with a spoon.
Oh... what's over thataway?
Visiting the park on a Saturday afternoon. The water park is the best!
So many kids, so little time!
Hilarious!
Run, run, RUNRUNRUNRUNRUN
Going from the water to the playground. Shae loves a good playground.

There's more fun stuff over there, mama. OVER THERE.
This place is RAD.

Now that Shae's hair can go into pigtails, that's how it's styled most days. Subsequently, she goes to sleep some nights (when we miss bathtime) with pigtails in her hair... but the pigtails never seem to make it to morning. The result is often quite comical.

Helping to make pancakes.
Snacktime!
Uncle Brian, Aunt Chris, Keeley and Taylor brought Shae a Shae-sized table and chairs from Minnesota. New favorite toy!!

Another day, another water park. Livin' the dream!

Shae had a dinner date with her friend, Parker. After dinner, we all retired to the patio to enjoy the evening air. In asking for a nice pose, they both said "CHEESE!" simultaneously. I missed it... but we tried to recreate it.
Wearing Parker's sweet kicks. I don't fundamentally approve of Crocs, but they are stinkin' cute!
